In our everyday lives we directly meet polyurethane foams in the form of household sponges.
We use different sponges for washing-up, car washing, bathing, face cleaning, shoe polishing but paint rollers are also foams.
Sponges are a great help as carriers to make small volumes of effective substances transportable or for their application, foaming of substances etc. That’s why it is used as a carrier substance for creams and liquids.
