Memory foam can surely be called the material of the next millennium. These materials represent the most “high-tech” technology in the polyurethane family.
They perfectly map the contours of the body in a way that they do not exert resistance against the force affecting them; this is the “visco-elastic effect”.
As a result of their cell structure exceptional and unique ergonomics and sleep comfort can be realised from memory foams due to their outstanding properties.
One of the exceptional properties of memory foams is that their physical parameters change significantly as a function of temperature. With the increase of temperature they gradually become softer, otherwise they get harder.
Two different types of memory foam raw materials should be distinguished.
The conventional memory foam raw materials do not let the air through, practically they do not air; however, due to continuous development the air-permeable execution already exists.
Memory foams combine softness with pressure distribution in an unparalleled way but they themselves do not meet the expectations of sleep culture which can be achieved only by the proper combination of normal and high resilient foams.
Because of its compelling properties these foams are the most popular materials for the mattress industry.
